Multi-line macros and CRLF line termination causes problems

Created: 14/Feb/09 06:03 AM   Updated: 14/Feb/09 10:24 AM
Component/s: C preprocessor
Affects Version/s: None
Fix Version/s: None

Environment: OS X/i386

 Description  « Hide
cpp fails to parse multi-line macros in files with CRLF line termination. These files are in projects originating from ms-dos machines. Instead, the macro is interpreted literally as \, and the rest of the macro is emitted verbatim.

#define MACRO(x,y) \^M
{ x, y}^M
