Here's an alternative patch which should accept the following line formats:

"\n" Unix
"\r" Mac OS Classic
"\r\n" DOS/Windows
"\n\r" I don't know. It's easier to code this way.

I really don't know anything about the PCC architecture, nor do I have it installed on my system, so I don't know if there are other side effects to consider. This is just the technique I use to support multiple return formats. Hope it helps :)
