This is the beta of the first release of [pcc](http://pcc.ludd.ltu.se/1.0_release/) since almost forever. The main architectures supported are i386 and amd64, other targets may have less functionality. Release 1.0 can be found at [ftp://pcc.ludd.ltu.se/pub/pcc-releases/](ftp://pcc.ludd.ltu.se/pub/pcc-releases/). (It is also available via [http](http://pcc.ludd.ltu.se/ftp/pub/pcc-releases/).) Tarballs of the latest pcc compiler and pcc-libs sources can be found in [ftp://pcc.ludd.ltu.se/pub/pcc-beta/](ftp://pcc.ludd.ltu.se/pub/pcc-beta/). Now heavy testing is needed, please report bugs at [http://pcc.ludd.ltu.se/jira](http://pcc.ludd.ltu.se/jira) to help development. To compile and install pcc you need lex (or flex), yacc (or bison) and a C compiler. It is supposed to compile and run on BSDs and Linux. Many thanks! Ragge& the pcc team.
